Making something like a jar of Hot Chocolate Mix a part of your Diwali Gift Hamper would be loved. Cozy and comforting food options are always welcome.
2 cups Confectioners Sugar
1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (good Quality)
2 cups Powdered Milk Or Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
How to: In a large bowl, sift the confectioner’s sugar, then the unsweetened cocoa, to get rid of any lumps. Stir in the powdered milk, and whisk well until everything is combined.
When you want to make hot cocoa, combine equal parts hot cocoa mix and hot water. I like to put the hot cocoa mix in the cup and add the hot liquid on top and stir, in order to not get any lumps. Enjoy!
Tip: Add mini marshmallows to the container, if desired. This can be kept in the pantry for 6 months.

This Cocoa Marzipan Bundt Cake has an interesting texture and aroma with a Festive feel to it. That’s what makes it special and it stands out among all other cakes. It’s an inspiration from Chef/ blogger David Lebovitz book ” The Great Book of Chocolate: The Chocolate Lover’s Guide with Recipes“. Adding marzipan to the cake batter takes the cake to another level. Thanks to Chef David. The cake was light, airy, and had a depth of flavor because of marzipan(almond paste). Cocoa Marzipan Bundt Cake brings a celebration note along and is a perfect fit for close family celebrations.
This is my all-time favorite Diwali treat here is how to make
Place brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a non-stick skillet on medium or medium-high. Stir the mixture as it comes together until it bubbles. Add nuts and stir to coat. Continue cooking for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly until nuts turn golden brown in color and smell toasted.
After nuts are coated in sugar mixture, transfer from skillet to a parchment lined baking sheet and place in a 400*F oven. Stir occasionally (every 1-2 minutes) until golden brown and toasted. It happens quick, so keep an eye on them! As you take the caramelized nuts out of the oven sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds. Quickly spread onto parchment paper; cool completely. Break clusters of nuts into pieces if any. Store in container with tight-fitting lid.
