Caramel popcorn is the perfect treat for kids and for us. Making small cute looking cups with these was so much fun. AÂ day full of joy, laughter and fun. You know what kids enjoyed the most about these Caramel PopCorn Candy Cups?
They enjoyed filling those cups with the candy of their choice. M&M’s, chocolate gold coins, gummy bears, Hershey’s Kisses. We had our small Christmas celebration before Christmas. They are crunchy, caramelized and very addictive.
Making these cute cups is another super simple recipe. You will need popcorn. Make them in the microwave or make them in the presser cooker;either ways they will work great. Then prepare caramel and pour over the popcorn. Quickly transfer into the muffin tray shaping each individual cup in the shape of a small bowl. Here you will have to send the kids out of the kitchen and work with the popcorn when they are little hot. Because the popcorn will start to set quickly and you won’t be able to mold them.
Worry not ! I have a trick to trick those hard stubborn popcorn if they refuse to work with you. Just pop them in the hot oven for a minute and they will be good to go. Still I would recommend working quickly with caramelized popcorn.
