We have eaten so many candies and played so much candy crush, but still can indulge more ! These are the two candies we been living with. (or until you have a girl named candy then you have three). Just a joke no offence to anyone. But the truth is; it’s Christmas month and Christmas is incomplete without candy, without that sweet joy on all those faces you love the most. So this is a post about Easy Christmas Candies. Fuss free and fun to prepare.

I have prepared all these three different candies for my kids and they have absolutely loved every piece of candy. And together we have eaten them it all before Christmas; And I had big plans to store them in airtight containers. There is nothing exotic about these candies, just fun and pure love is all you need other than the ingredients.

There is an endless variety of sweet treats but my idea was to keep these as very simple, quick and easy to prepare recipes. I am sharing the links below – please click on the picture or on the heading to see the process of making that particular candy.

Sugar is the magic ingredient in candy making. But one candy, prepared with dates and sesame seeds, will not require any sugar or fat –  For all those health conscious friends. You will love it as it is winter and you can customize it with your choice of nuts and even the quantity of nuts. Super healthy and the kids will love it too.

Caramel PopCorn Candy Cups

One is with popcorn It’s very interesting and my favorite too; just caramelize  the popcorn – then set them in the cup cake tray. You will have small baby cups of popcorn – Now fill them with any candy or chocolate.  This makes a fantastic gift and looks so very cute.

Homemade Alpenliebe Lollies

These are the lollies, simple caramel toffee lollies. I have tried to get the feel and texture of Alpenliebe. And it really worked – the toffee melts gorgeously in the mouth. It’s super smooth and yummy.

These candies will require sugar and you will have to caramelize the sugar. Which is not a very alien work if you follow the instructions. Earlier I have posted a recipe of caramel candy. This is almost same as that one; only difference is that caramel candy was a bit soft and chewy and these lollies are hard, if you drop it on the floor  they will break.

I recommend reading that post once before you start with this candy. So here is the link CARAMEL CANDY .
