Well, actually its not my first bread as I have been baking breads since last week.
But this is first one I am happy with .
I am getting more and more passionate about home baking , Thanks to all those people who bake beautiful breads and post those pics of their creations on Facebook pages. The more I see , the more I get inspired . It always seemed such a complicated task , but now I feel liberated; liberated to experiment even more . The most lovely thing about baking a bread , is that I can add in any flavour , but its also nice “just plain”. Its a true pleasure .
All that is needed to bake bread is water ,flour , yeast , and salt. Though I did made a little addition of milk powder . I can see how much better this is than the last bake . I am so happy today; Never thought that a fresh loaf would come out of my kitchen . Its a yeeeepeee day .
That scary yeast , is not a problem now . Its not that hard to deal with . We just require a bit of patience to get to know yeast better , work more with it , make it a friend ( I know you baby , the way you work ).
Kneading is another fun thing , squish and roll , squish and fold .
