Crispy Crust home baked PIZZA

Pizzas are loved, we get them from pizza parlors, or we make them home;

But there is something always missing when we bake them home.

These simple tips can help you achieve restaurant quality Pizza at home.

Yesterday while baking I used a different approach; and the result was full of compliments.

I actually had my little PIZZA VICTORY dance, (in my kitchen) when I took my Pizza out of oven.

These few tips-(which I think will be useful) while baking a pizza at home,

and these will give you a crispy texture on your pizza crust, and the layers of yummy savory toppings.

1.Knead the dough with lukewarm water, add in little olive oil to

2. If you keep your dough in the fridge overnight for slow rise, it gives a better result.

3. While rolling the dough flat use your fingers instead of rolling pin, start from inner part and gradually move your fingers towards the edge.

4. The thinner you roll your dough, the crisper crust you get.

5.Temperature is the key, you need really hot oven, for a good pizza. So preheat your oven.

6.Pizza stone needs plenty of time to heat before transferring the pizza. (If you don’t have one, here is the trick- simply use your Tawa ( A flat metal frying pan used in Indian houses for making flat bread.)Heat your  ntawa on the flame for some time before putting the pizza on. Then transfer the tawa in the hot oven for further bake. It will provide you the same service.

 7. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on your dough and put it in the oven. After some time pull the pizza out and spread the rest of the toppings.

 8. When you prepare the sauce for your pizza try making it little thick.

  9. If your pizza is getting its browning on the top and the crust is not done yet, you can move your pizza on  the bottom part of the oven or you can simply cover the top part with an inverted lasagna tray, which will prevent top from burning.

  10. Don’t forget to do your Pizza victory dance, when you achieve accurate professional pizza.

 TO ASSEMBLE THE PIZZA –

Take your dough out of the fridge and let it rest on the kitchen counter for some time.

Preheat the oven at 200* c and place your pizza stone on the lower rack.

Flatten the dough out on the kitchen counter dusted with little flour.

Take one portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Now with your fingertips start spreading the dough out gently.

When it is of the size and thickness you wish for, spread pizza sauce evenly on the top, and Place it on the hot pizza stone with little olive oil.

After 2 minutes of baking at high temperature pull it out and spread the topping and cheese evenly. Bake for another 10 minutes.

Cut the size of the slices as per your wish.

And don’t waste time just eat it hot and bubbling.

Enjoy.
