Basil Pesto Recipe

This is one of the easiest way of making Basil pesto at home. Indian Kitchen friendly, A recipe you will make over and over again.

Equipment

  • Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil
  • 1/3 rd cup Walnuts https://amzn.to/2XVTj6u
  • 3 peeled Garlic Cloves
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese https://amzn.to/3o0Sfc5
  • 1/4th cup Olive Oil https://amzn.to/3sIPjV9

Instructions

  • Wash and clean fresh basil and remove the leaves from the stems.
  • In a food processor,https://amzn.to/39OK5hT add walnuts and garlic cloves. Run the processor on a pulse mode and grind them together.
  • Add in the washed basil, salt, lemon juice, Parmesan Cheese, and half the olive oil. Run the processor again till it's ground properly.
    Keep the processor running and drizzle in the rest of the olive oil.
    Run the processor till you get good consistency as shown in the video.
    When storing the pesto drizzle some more olive oil on the top and store in the fridge.
